Give my all for a choice…

Capture time in a locket
Hold my memories close
Near the skin upon my heart
Melancholy and joy residing
Swirling together in the void

Can you truly hear my voice?

Another sin upon the docket
Take my medicine in one dose
All to bind what’s falling apart
Sanity is slowly sliding
Cannot live and avoid

Give me reason to rejoice!

Pain in my pocket
Heart sick my soul’s turned gross
Final end but when did it start?
Remembrances are abiding
Blood in the void

The world is lost through a choice…

It's the first poem in forever... I am still editing it and revising but I thought I'd put it up in all its stages. This is it all as it flowed from my pen.

This is probably the best poem I've ever seen you write.

Keep going.

so good to see you writting again. Keep it up. You are really growing as a writer. ISn't it crazy how some of your best work requires such little editing and just 'flows from your pen'

Thanks! Glad you liked it. I know. It is weird how the best ones just "appear." lol TTYL
